We know weddings are a day full of precious moments that fly by so quickly. We only received one photo from our wedding photographer. This showed us exactly how important these memories are and inspired us to create Lifetime In A Day Films.
Since then we have focused on serving our couples, building strong relationships within the wedding industry and telling unique stories.

OUR INSPIRATION
WE ARE INSPIRED BY CAPTURING REAL & AUTHENTIC MOMENTS.
The ability for video to capture an entire moment, rather than a split second in time. We find by truly knowing our couples we can find moments that can often go unnoticed that will bring true emotion to their film and resonates with them forever.
Knowing our couples prior to the day allows us to have a laid back approach so they are comfortable to have their uninterrupted moments while we capture the raw beauty.

Building a connection with our couples and finding out what is important to them helps us recognise the valuable moments as they happen.

2012
We met on a blind date setup by Kirsten’s Aunt
2015
Justin started filming video content for the company he worked for. Creating training materials, client success stories and event recap videos.
2016
We only received one sneak peek photo from our photographer and showed us the importance of the moments that happen on a wedding day.

2020
Kirsten convinced Justin to turn his idea into reality and Lifetime In A Day Films was born. We booked our first two weddings and were ready to hit the ground running… then COVID hit.
2018
Our first son was born and our family/work life balance started shifting.

Justin discovered the world of cinematic wedding filmmakers online. He started incorporating some of the style into his corporate videography work and filming weddings sat in the back of his mind.
2023
With Lifetime In A Day Films growing we made the big decision for Justin to leave his full-time job of 16 years and put all of our energy into filming weddings.
2022
Juggling two kids, a full-time job and our business that was growing rapidly meant it was time to start looking at how we could fit everything into our lives.
2021
Thanks to COVID our first weddings were rescheduled to early 2021. After filming those two weddings we both knew this was something we wanted to throw ourselves into.
